Boulder Junction features 13.5 miles of paved biking trails which connect to the Sayner and St. Germain trail systems. The town also has many unique shops and galleries and has some of the areas finest restaurants.

Within a short drive you'll enjoy other fishing; Birch Lake (Moon Lake by the locals) 1/4 mile away, with launch and both Lake Montello and Buffalo Lake, a 2 mile drive. This chain features two class A musky fishing lakes which also hold

snowmobile trails, and water sports. Excellent hunting opportunities can be found in the nearby 800,000 acre Chequamegon forest.

It is located on the Oneida/Vilas county border and is close to the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest and the Chequamegon National Forest. You will also be minutes away from the 18 mile Bearskin Bike Trail and many of the area attractions such as golf courses, fine restaurants and much more.
